SING FOR JESUS

Missionaries go all over the world to tell the stories of the Bible and share the love of Jesus. They help people come together in groups and form churches—they might go to many different villages or neighborhoods and help start several different churches.  That’s called “church planting.” National Christians also go, tell others about Jesus, and help form new churches. These missionaries and national Christians are called “church planters.”

AS is the preschool daughter of a national church planter and she loves Jesus.  She refuses to sing or pray at school because they pray to Hindu gods, but she DOES pray and sing boldly to Jesus in school and on the bus. The bus driver asked her church planter dad what songs she was singing.  He offered to give him a CD he could play on the bus!

A neighbor mother asked AS to join in a Hindu offering, but she refused saying she only worships Jesus.  Over the phone (on speaker) she prayed and loudly sang songs for her great grandmother who has Alzheimers.  Two Hindu ladies who had come for a visit heard it all. They were very touched by the faith of this little girl.

All of us can share the love of Jesus with our friends, our neighbors and our family. Please pray for AS to keep on singing and praying. Ask God to help her and her father as they plant churches where they live.
