PENNY: OK Surfer Bob, you look like you’re doing something special, so what’s on today’s agenda?

SURFER BOB: Oh I just wanted to… (giggle) introduce somebody to ya. I ran into her while I was surfin’ ‘round the world. (sigh)

PENNY: Hummmmm. This is new … and you are acting a little strange. What’s going on? And who is going to be our special guest?

SURFER BOB: (sigh) Oh just someone I met while I was surfin’ ‘round the world. (sigh)

PENNY: You said that already Bob-o. And judging from the way you’re acting, she must have made quite an impression!

SURFER BOB: Wha … oh, uh … right … uh, our special guest. Ummm … well, her name is Ms. Jeni Varnadeau. And she’s a wonderful Christian artist who … who sings so wonderfully and is just so wonderful to everyone she comes in contact with …

PENNY: (to camera) I don’t think I’ve ever seen Surfer Bob act like this! Hey, Bob! Earth to Bob! Come in, Bob?! (to camera again) Well, if I am ever going to meet Jeni Varnadeau … I can see that I am going to have to take matters into my own hands. So while Surfer Bob is off in ‘La La Land,’ I’ll just type in a few commands here … and see what I can do.

JENI: Hello? Is this thing on? Surfer Bob … are you there?

SURFER BOB: Oh! Uh … hello Ms. Varnadeau. Ummm, hi. Uh … I would like to introduce you to my favorite Web pal, Penny. Penny, this is … Ms. Varnadeau.

JENI: Oh, Surfer Bob, call me Jeni! Hello, Penny. It is nice to finally get the chance to meet the person Bob is always talking about!

PENNY: It is very nice to meet you, too! But I get the impression that Surfer Bob is going to be talking a lot about you. You’ll have to forgive my friend for acting a little weird; (chuckle) I think he just might have a crush on you!

JENI: Oh, don’t be silly. You’re doing OK, aren’t you Bob?

SURFER BOB: (no response)

PENNY: Jeni, why don’t you just tell our Kids On Mission viewers, and myself, a little about you.

JENI: Well, I’m happily married … my home is in Tennessee … and I’m a singer/songwriter of Christian music. In fact, I am currently on my European tour, and today I come to you from the beautiful land of Belgium!

PENNY: Wow that’s awesome, Jeni! What is it like to tour in Europe?

JENI: Oh it is great! God has really blessed us with a wonderful tour, and there is so much to see here. Hey, while Surfer Bob was here, he followed me around with the Web cam and put together a little montage of video clips … would you like to see it?

PENNY: Oh yes, we would love to! Hey, Bob, why don’t you open that video file for us?

SURFER BOB: Heh, heh. Isn’t she great?!

JENI: (laugh) Uh, Penny? I think it would be better if you opened it up.

PENNY: (laugh) I think you’re right!

PENNY: Oh I wish I was there with you guys! It looks like you are having a great time.

JENI: It is hard to put into words! You know God has put it on my heart to sing His glory and sing about our Lord Jesus, and that is what I am doing … no matter where He sends me.

SURFER BOB: Hey, Jeni! It’s OK that I call you Jeni, right?

JENI: Yes, Bob.

SURFER BOB: What you just said, ‘bout singin’ no matter where God sends you, reminded me of a beautiful song you wrote. Tell us ‘bout that, would ya?!

JENI: You’re referring to my song, "Go and Tell," right?

SURFER BOB: Ummmm-hummmm

JENI: "Go and Tell" is a song that was written as a prayer to God. I mean … as I look around the world and see His creation, and I read the Bible and understand His power … I just have to GO and tell the world about Him!

SURFER BOB: Yeah, just like a missionary! I guess you could say that you are a missionary.

PENNY: That’s right Bob, and the world can hear God’s truth through Jeni’s music ministry.

JENI: Would you and your Kids On Mission friends like to see the "Go and Tell" music video?

JENI: It’s a Biblically based workshop for preteen and teenage girls – where I teach about inner and outer beauty, as well as physical, mental and spiritual health. It encourages young girls to seek God, know His will and experience His love.
