The Door of hope uses many vounteers and short-term workers to help care for abandoned babies
The Door of Hope is a ministry to abandoned babies. Many of the babies are sick or have not had enough to eat. It takes a lot to care for a baby who is healthy and even more when they are sick. You can pray for the many volunteers working at the Door of Hope to have exactly what they need to love and care of the babies in an extreme way. Here's a fun activity to help remind you of all the needs these babies may have:
PRAYER BOXES
Berea Baptist Mission Church in South Africa has a “baby bin." The purpose of the bin is to provide a safe place for babies to be left by mothers who can not take care of them.
You can design your own "bin" with a shoebox. Decorate the box however you want. Write an item the babies need at The Door of Hope on seperate slips of paper. Here's a list that might help you...
diapers, formula, baby food, blankets, medicine, toys, love, attention
Put the slips of paper in your box. Each day, you can pull out a slip of paper and pray for the item listed.
