A friend thing

Henna is an important part of Indian culture. It is temporary artwork drawn on the skin and a major part of some cultures. Women put beautiful designs on their hands and feet for special occasions.

Friends gather to share stories and share artwork. The special, temporary dye used is made from the henna plant.

Chrisitan workers living in places like India often gather with their friends and use the art as a way to share about Jesus.  They will make special designs on their hands and feet that tell stories from the Bible.
